Gregory Corso

(1930-2001) fue un poeta y figura pública de gran importancia perteneciente a la generación beat. Nació en Nueva York y pasó su niñez en diversos orfanatorios. Como adolescente estuvo detenido en prisiones en Nueva York y Vermont. Vivió una vida itinerante, dividiendo su tiempo entre Nueva York, San Francisco, Paris, Roma y Atenas. Recientemente se publicó The Golden Dot, un libro editado por Raymond Foye y George Scrivani que reúne los últimos poemas de Corso.


(1930-2001) was a poet and public figure of great importance belonging to the Beat Generation. He was born in New York and spent his childhood in several orphanages. As a teenager, he spent time in prisons in New York and Vermont. He lived an itinerant life, dividing his time between New York, San Francisco, Paris, Rome and Athens. Recently, The Golden Dot was published, a book of his edited by Raymond Foye and George Scrivani, which brings together Corso’s last poems.
